It's been almost three years, and they've been three very interesting years indeed.
I'm growing up, and growing up means moving on. Time to discover new things about myself in new places. And so, to stay true to that mantra, it's time to move on to new and different things.
Thank you to all who have supported me in these three years, especially Tiffany and Jordan. Your warm, upbeat comments always kept me going and made mesmile, even when times were tough.
To those of you who have forced me into silence, anger, or sadness... well played.
Here's to the future, because the past isn't going anywhere.

I leave for Southwest Missouri State University in less than 8 hours.
I am scared, excited, anxious, worried, and a little sleepy.

Wow! I had a really great birthday!
I got up fairly late and took a long hot shower. Then Chuck came over, and he took me to go shopping -- SHOE shopping -- and he didn't complain at all! He even helped! It was really fun, and I found this new store at the mall that's entirely girl's shoes; they were all supercute and different than what I was used to seeing, and every pair was only $10! I bought two, some really cute sandals and even cuter white open-toed pumps. I was totally girlied out.
Chuck bought me an amazing cherry smoothie and then we went home to watch "The Jacket" -- not a great movie, but it was worth cuddling through. Then I opened my presents from everybody; from Chuck, I got 3 Fall Out Boy CDs, the E.S. Posthumus CD, a Galaga shirt, a portable old arcade game with Galaga and Ms. Pacman on it, and a shirt that says "Joss Whedon is my master now". For those of you who aren't cool, that's the guy who created Buffy.
From my parents, I got a bunch of photo frames, "Saw" on DVD, some Fall Out Boy shirts, a fan for my desk, a decoration from the Enchanted Attic for my room, and some books of poetry by Dorothy Parker (my favorite poetry). Then we went and ate dinner at Olive Garden, where my manager Tony wished me a happy birthday and gave me a free cake! Afterwards, we went home where I had berry cheesecake and blew out the candles, then Chuck and I watched [adult swim]. It was a great birthday!
I colored my hair tonight. It is super blonde. I hope it looks okay.
Tomorrow I'm going to dinner with Chuck and his family, then Manda and Sarah are coming over for my going away sleepover. Thursday evening I'll take them to dinner at Long Horn. Then Friday I'm outta here.

Tomorrow is my 19th birthday!
And I talked to my roommate, Sarah! She is super happy, she graduated early from high school, and she's a theatre major! I think we're going to get along very well.

Oh well, it's another person who I'm gonna be pretty afraid to call until I just make myself do it. I just wish these damn people would sign up for MySpace and make it easier on me.
